Little Bat Gets his Photos done!

This is Part 2 (of 3) blog entries with this family! They returned to me the following Fall to photograph this little guys' 6 month milestone with a Halloween inspired photoshoot. Mom made her little guy an AMAZING little Bat costume with stripey legs and adorable oversized bat ears! We styled mom with a black lace gown from This is Reclamation. We did our session at Fort Bellefontaine Park in North St. Louis County. If you have never been there, it is a pretty cool spot but know that there are just a few steps to contend with. *wink wink*

Dad joined in on the session with a classic monochrome styling replete with bowtie and suspenders to match their little boy who I affectionately call "Baby Bat".

And once again, they did not fail in the "we have this thing we want to do ya see..." department. They brought with them, 2 vintage inspired Halloween animals masks. You know...the kind you wear in the creepy movie? And once again I was all in. Baby Bat had a bit of a dapper wardrobe change for the next set of images.

Last but not least, I leave you with two of my favorite images from this session. I just find them to almost evoke a vintage regality. The location, the wardrobe, the edit all came together for a fantastic Halloween shoot. Keep an eye on the blog.
